Minimum Requirements:

• A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design sensibility
• Fresh, innovative ideas, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
• Well versed in contemporary trends in visual design
• Intuitive understanding of user behavior on the web
• Motivated, high energy and focused creativity
• Able to self-manage tasks and time
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to take critiques with positive attitude
• Ability to follow project through from concept until completion
• Skilled in the use of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Schedules own time and completes several tasks/assignments with competing deadlines
• Honors commitments made to internal clients, and colleagues, following through on final details as required and expected

Desirable Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or MFA in Graphic Design, or successful completion of an equivalent art school program
• 2-5 years of commercial website design and development (candidates must provide examples of work)
• Experience with branding and marketing
• Skilled in the use of Flash/Actionscript

Responsibilities:

• Develop graphic design and layout
• Develop and maintain user interfaces, accessibility, style guides and visual standards
• Create original graphics, icons, buttons, etc...
• Use computer software to design new images
• Develop, interpret and execute the website's graphical style
• Design compelling visuals and graphics that enhance communications impact
